Scope of this page
The official pre-release distinction between Coming Soon, December 2026, Early Access, playtest access, and planned open playtest phases for Beautiful Light.
Steam displays Coming Soon To Early Access, December 2026, and says that the game is not yet available. Epic displays Coming Soon, Early Access, and Available Dec 2026. Neither page publishes a release day.
Steam includes a Request Access module for the playtest. That module records a route to request access; it does not establish that a playtest build is currently downloadable, nor does it make the playtest the commercial Early Access release.
The official FAQ describes the game as in active development, treats late 2026 as a probable window, and says that several open playtest phases are desired before Early Access. These are pre-release statements with their conditions retained.
This page therefore separates the listed Early Access window, the current unavailable state, and the playtest plan. It does not announce a daily date or claim that an open playtest is live.
Coming Soon is not commercial availability
The two storefronts agree on a pre-release status and a December 2026 month-level window, while using their own labels. The public pages do not provide a day.
